“The sense of identity of a citizen with his/her homeland is a very strong connection that does not get lost in time. It needs to be taken care of. Citizenship is a fascinating area. Hopefully, we will keep witnessing situations such as this, where governments are concerned about not forgetting previous mistakes, wanting to repair them, even 600 years later”.
